AGA launches Duck Egg Blue model to mark historic foundry's 300th anniversary

Limited Production Duck Egg Blue 3-oven AGA

As part of the celebrations to mark Coalbrookdale's 300th anniversary, AGA has launched a limited production 3-oven AGA in Duck Egg Blue.

The new model will feature an exclusive hand-enamelled AGA motif cast into the top left oven door.  This motif - which will also be applied both black and cream special-edition cookers within the range - distinguishes these limited-production models and will only be available during 2009.

Duck Egg Blue was previously part of the AGA range from 1956 to 1972, although then named Pale Blue.  Every 300th anniversary AGA will be fitted with a specially produced data plate featuring an exclusive serial number and anniversary logo.  The new shade will be available on all 3-oven AGA configurations.

Limited Production Duck Egg Blue Cast Iron Cookware

AGA is also introducing a limited production cast iron cookware set to complement the Duck Egg Blue AGA.

Featuring the 300 year Coalbrookdale foundry logo, the set costs £179.95 and comprises of:

• 2.3l traditional round casserole
• Traditional 28cm grill pan
• Contemporary chef's dish
• Traditional trivet, cast with the 300 year commemorative badge
• Chef's pad with tea pot design
